    Maecia, thank you for your reply. By force quality to 100% and disable, I think you mean:
    1) Set “Image Quality” field to 100.
    2) Hit “Save Changes” button.
    3) Hit “Optimize all pictures” button and wait for the process to complete.
    4) Disable the plugin.

    If so, I did as you said, but the files being referenced are still not the same size as the backups (ones labeled -unsmushed). The process took a similar amount of time as the original optimization. So it seems like it runs through the filtering process at a quality of 100, rather than actually restoring the backups.

    This is not a complaint, just an observation. I have since figured out a way to rename the -unsmushed files in bulk locally using a renaming utility, so I think my problem is solved. At this point I’m just reporting my findings. Thank you for your effort to respond and support your product!

    I wasn’t sure I needed all the features of Clearfy, and since I’m trying to keep my installation lean, I opted for trying Assets Manager instead. Yesterday I put it through its paces. It works very well! I had to enable my Admin bar in WordPress so I could use Assets Manager on the frontend. This allowed me to use the “Current URL” setting to enable CSS and Javascript for a specific page. Enabling the bar was a worthwhile change because this plugin’s methodology for turning assets on and off was swift and efficient. So, thank you very much for creating this great plugin!

    That said, I think the description for Assets Manager should be edited here: “That’s why we created the WP Asset CleanUp plugin (Gonzales), …”. I suspect it was written this way for SEO, but to humans it implies you are taking credit for creating two plugins which were not developed by Webcraftic (but that share the same core function): WP Asset CleanUp by Gabriel Livan and Gonzales by Tomasz Dobrzynski. I’m sure this was not Webcraftic’s intention, and fixing it puts you in a better light, which might outweigh the SEO benefit in the long run.

    I think the most significant difference would be that a plugin control does not give you control over what scripts and styles your theme loads, where as this asset manager appears to offer control of the them’s assets as well. I haven’t tried either yet, mind you, but control of all assets does seem important to me. The theme I use loads several which are not needed on every page/post.

    To be more clear, I am referring to the error message Contact Form 7 displays if you fill the From field with an address that is from a different domain than the website: “This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site”.

    I’m hoping the Author or someone else in the know will contribute more links to reference that supports this protocol.

    However, in further searches I was able to find a fairly credible consensus here: https://serverfault.com/questions/514925/why-is-it-a-bad-idea-to-use-a-customer-email-as-the-from-address

    @ WPMU DEV Support,

    I think the code you provided as a solution for the OP only starts the first video in the playlist on page load. So you still have to push play for each additional video. At least that is what I’m seeing on my site when I use it. So is this thread really “resolved”? Can we get additional help? Thanks.

    Ok, thanks MetaphorCreations. I tried uninstall/reinstall so I’ve created a ticket and given you FTP access. Thanks!

    Do you need me to do the same as you instructed to klankentapper?

    I just updated to 1.4.8 and my arrows and all icons related to ditty seem to be missing. The backend has icons replaced by a little box with “E001” inside them. I tried setting everything in fontastic to 755 but still no love.

    I’m seeing the same error. I have tried deactivating every plugin except this one and also activated WordPress default themes like TwentyThirteen, etc., and I still see the error: “ReferenceError: videojs is not defined”
    It specifically refers to:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    videojs.options.flash.swf = "https://www.specialtyheating.com/wp-content/plugins/videojs-html5-video-player-for-wordpress/videojs/video-js.swf";
    </script>

    Ok, well I guess I just needed to tell myself to take a break and then come back to it when I was fresh. So… I worked it out. Daniele’s instructions for Firefox, Firebug, FirePHP and the wp-firePHP plugin are fine. I just didn’t understand where to put the fb($variable_or_string);, so thought I needed to install the FirePHP library (not needed because wp-firePHP actually handles all that for you). Once the FirePHP Firefox extension and wp-firePHP are installed and activated, you can put fb($cf7); in your theme’s functions.php file and I think might work best inside and on the last line of Daniele’s function create_unique_coupon_and_send_it (placing it outside the function returns a NULL value for me). Then loading the site and filling the form with firebug open gave the debugging values I was expecting.

    The debugging was definitely very helpful. That’s how I discovered that I needed to modify Daniele’s code from $uploads[‘path’] to $uploads[‘basedir’] because I have month and year turned on. More info is here in the WordPress Codex Function Ref for wp_upload_dir Basically, path in this case returned …/uploads/2012/04 whereas basedir returns just …/uploads which is where my coupon folder is. I hope that makes sense and helps others who might be stuck for the same reason. Thank you again Daniele.

    @daniele
    Thanks for sharing your solution but I couldn’t get it to work. I also get the message with “So Long,…” but no attachment. So I tried to follow your instructions for installing and using FirePHP Firefox extension to Firebug and wp-firePHP plugin for WordPress. Nuts! After hours of reading the documentation (what there is) for both and studying your instructions I still don’t understand:
    1. Where on my website server or local testing (wamp) directory to put the FirePHPCore library.

    2. Which file to put in “require_once(‘FirePHPCore/FirePHP.class.php’);” and “ob_start();”

    3. Where in firebug to enter “fb($cf7);”

    4. Why I don’t see a url listed under Console even though FirePHP (the blue bug) is enabled. All I see under console is “Clear Persist Profile All Errors Warnings Info Debug Info”.

    I’ve looked here:https://www.firephp.org/HQ/Learn.htm and here: https://www.sitepoint.com/debug-php-firebug-firephp/ but I can’t make monkey poop out of either. Man, I’m not a newb to code, just haven’t debugged PHP before. Why does the documentation have to be so vague?!
    Please help.

    James, thanks for the FYI. But just out of curiosity (and not overlooking the possibility that I’m being a tard and just not seeing the obvious) where would folks normally find out how to contact Otto?

    Ok, thanks guys. Otto, the username was chrisparrish. I just forwarded those emails to you now but basically I made three attempts (two on the 14th and one today). Seems like I’m getting the first email to verify my email but then I never get the second one with the random password.
