What kind of file is it? Some files will simply open your browser such as image files. As far as I know, you need to zip many files in order for there to be the option to even download.

I have not yet bought the plugin. Does the plugin show the URL of the Google Drive file or is it obfuscated with some sort of encrypted url code? I just don’t want people to be able to share the file link with others all over the internet without paying.

hmmmmmmmm. That’s a bit dumb for those of us that have well over 10,000 new products to import every month. Storing anything over 1,000 files in one folder will begin to slow down the server because it has to look for the file amongst the thousands of others and if you have 1000 individuals on your site all trying to access from the same folder then things begin to break.

Is there a possible workaround for this?

Also, to be clear, I now have over 15,000 images in that https://iaskedai.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/ folder and it takes a ridiculous amount of time for FTP or cpanel file manager to load just so that I can access the folder.

I have imported close to 1,000 so far so this will take me a week or so but it’s so much better than a few months ??

I have it installed on multisite. Seems the plugin has been abandoned though. It’s a shame. A lot of missed potential and the only one like it to date that I can find.

You would think that with everything going mobile that this app would be alive and kicking. Sad that it’s been abandoned. Even the contact form at the main site https://app-developers.biz/contact-form/ kicks back an error after submitting.

Sucks that it’s dead.
