Try replacing example.com with 127.0.0.1 – it will almost certainly fail. Sounds to me like your site is behind a load balancer and it can’t access itself. Your hosts really should have a secure solution to this…

I finally fixed it. It was a broken plugin – WPTags 4 Metakeywords. Basically, none of my pages were tagged which caused it to break.

OK, smart alec – you got me! But I’ve now removed it and it’s still not working. Any other ideas? (and this time I mean idea!)

Good idea Moshu. I tried removing all Amazon’s links…but still no joy. This is driving me insane!

Take a look at this BMW site. It’s not WordPress but the design is stunning…and would be perfect as a magazine-blog template. Anyone good at copying designs? ??

I also found Gridlock overly complicated. And I’m surprised there aren’t more magazine themes around. It really does change the whole complexion of a blog into something a bit different; I for one am tired of the “blog look”.

I meant 2.0 Jon ?? Wouldn’t touch 2.1ish. Is anyone any closer to fixing this? It’s causing me huge problems!

And nor does includes/cron.php (to my knowledge). Maybe I should roll back to 2.11 or even earlier…

I’ll throw my hat into the ring. I did see someone, somewhere, had a solution with WP’s cron files not having the right permissions. But I’m still stuck and it still doesn’t work ??

Well, despite my fix it’s happened again. This is seriously worrying me now. Samboll, what were your hosters doing with MySQL; can you remember?
