Thank you Trisha for your reply, I have been playing around and figured it out ??

But here are two more issues I am facing and would like to have changed:
1. Remove the hover opacity over the dog’s image.
2. Reduce the image size. Seems like WP created a default space for the image to fill. I would like to have the image smaller but reducing the image size doesnt seem to do the trick as the image still filled up the space and will be more pixelated.

I have tried resizing to 400 X 400 previously but the image will still fill up the entire space and become more pixelated.

Thank you for your help on that. The images on the individual posts pages are smaller. I have several featured images under Portfolio items as well and would like to make them smaller too. Do you have a code for that?
