This actually is against the rules of WordPress. This has NO Dismiss option and shows each and every time you visit something or do something in admin dashboard. In every move you make in there.

I have always used custom

/%category%/%postname%/

and worked great in all previous themes and the default one of WP.

CPU, Physical Memory and Entry Processes.

I think that the Gator Cache should be automatically created in wp-content/cache and not in the root of the website or outside the hosting space.

As all cache plugins do.

Also i would like to ask something related: is the modifications of .htaccess a MUST to work Gator cache ? Or optional ?
