Is there a definitive answer here – all we want to do is affirmatively *exclude* the forum subdirectory from browser / page caching.

I’ve seen different answers to this question. Some say to enter just ‘forum’, some say ‘forum/*’ some ‘/forum/’ (all without quotes, of course.)

Any solid answer how to, with certainty, exclude (from page caching or other caching that would prevent a forum from updating reasonably) a subdirectory that runs a forum (such as vBulletin or XenForo?)

I’d also really love to know how to do this. It seems remarkably simple.

For others who may want to do this, I have found apparent success by adding this line:

'%%att_desc%%' => $r->post_content,

to the end of the

$replacements = array(

function in wpseo-functions.php.

(And then, of course, using the %%att_desc%% variable appropriately in the SEO title options.)

I am having the same issue. There seems to be no way to keep the “Deselect this option to disable all caching functionality.” box CHECKED (and thus, the plugin enabled) without having the CDN stuff activated. For sites not using a CDN, that would seem to indicate that the plugin cannot be used.

While I totally agree every serious site should be using CDN, the plugin should still be usable without CDN.

Would be nice if we had the option to add a database prefix to the post type names (names as used in the DB).

The plugin hasn’t been updated to deal with this I assume?

This doesn’t appear to have been fixed in the subsequent release. Any news? Thanks.

I’ve just started seeing that error after my upgrade to 3.1

Same deal here; I’m experiencing wiped key values on saves if the fields already exist.

I am experiencing this as well – following proximity’s steps I get the value of several keys wiped out. Any fix on the horizon?

Thanks, I actually am using your plugin, but still haven’t figured out how to get those specific scripts to load from the CDN.
