Finally figured it out. It was the admin account. It contained bad cookies stored in session cookies. I created a new admin account–problem solved.

No. And that wouldn’t explain why the 3 techs I’ve hired had the same problem on their computers.

Yes. It’s gone. I even had professional help to confirm.

No. They’ve checked all their backend stuff too. And they’ve turned of their firewall to check that. Nothing. I should also note that I had this problem before switching to a new host too. So I really don’t think it’s a host thing.

Done. No change.

Don’t close this. Still working on it. Will come back with an update.

I believe it was WP Super Cache.

I have removed all cashing plugins to see if that was an issue so none at the moment. And yes, everyone I’ve talked to says it looks unique to my site. In other words, they don’t know what is causing it. We have been trying all sorts of things in a sandbox.

It continues under multiple themes. And yes, it continues under 2021 Theme.

Tried a different network and using Chrome incognito. Problem still exists. ;( Thanks for the idea though.

I have used this same theme and set up on another blog in the same browser and it worked fine. Opened in both Firefox and Chrome. Does the same thing. ;( Reinstalled WordPress. No change.

Ugh. Well I’m not sure it’s worth that. Ok.

Just switched themes, servers, and cleared caches. This was a problem with the old theme too and on the old server. We also recently deactivated all plugins in trying to solve another problem. Still no go.

Christine and Robert, tried deleting the pluging and re-installing. The set up it totally different now. I tried several setting changes including selecting TAR and even sending it via email. No luck. Tried BackupWordpress but it didn’t work for me at all. Really liked the BackWPup setup and would love to have it working again. There is plenty of space on my server so that isn’t the issue.

I did. Tried some. They didn’t work on images imported from blogger. I was hoping someone could share something specific.

I’ve looked everywhere on how to do this. Any suggestions for a newbie?
