Angy12, question for you: did you downgrade the plugin at both the source and destination websites, or only at the destination website before import?
EDIT: never mind, I see that you said you downgraded WP itself back to 4.2, not downgrading the plugin.

Setting this topic back to Not Resolved – I’m trying to migrate to a different site altogether, with a 327MB size backup file. Import seemed to work but just as before, it’s getting hung up on Restoring Database. How long should that step typically take? I don’t want to open the site in a new window just yet in case it interrupts something. I also managed to upload a copy of the backup file via FTP to the plugin’s folder in wp-content in case I have to restore from there.

Never received a response for this. Any options at all for changing the date picker to US formatting?

Thanks – I’m going to chalk this up to a quirk on the particular web server where I was importing the site. I do have another site I need to migrate over and I plan to use this plugin again. If the error happens once more, I’ll start a new thread.

No, sadly it wasn’t. Whenever it hung on Restoring Database (and I let it run for a good while) and I opened a new tab and either tried going to the main site or the dashboard, I’d see the WordPress install wizard (choose a language, site name and tagline, etc.).

I tried restoring it a couple of times, then reinstalled WordPress and tried again, still no go. Every time it seemed to only do a partial job and hanging on the Restoring Database section. Luckily it wasn’t a huge site to restore so I had to go in manually for a lot of settings and pages, but this was definitely frustrating.

Issue has been resolved. The problem was that my site is encrypted with SSL, and the plugin was trying to call certain files and functions using http, so that’s where the conflict lay. Shiftcontroller folks fixed the line in the core file and will include the fix in the next update so that it hopefully doesn’t happen again. If anyone else has a similar problem, please try updating to the very latest Shiftcontroller after reading this post and hopefully it will be resolved for you. Thanks again to Shiftcontroller for the support!

Just wondering if this is ever going to be fixed. The child properties widget still shows all properties in an incorrect order.

I should add that it would be nice to have this feature in the dashboard back-end for administrators to use to export shifts. Doesn’t necessarily need to be included in the front end.

Thank you – I tried out the P3 plugin to test resource usage for plugins, it didn’t really reveal that much to me, but it’s a good start. I also figured that jquery isn’t being called properly in my theme so I have to check in on that.

I also tried using the shortcode on a test page, it’s coming up blank. Both shortcode and widget seem to be outputting code when I check my source code, but nothing actually shows up on the page. I don’t have any CSS blocking certain iFrames from displaying, and this issue is coming up on different browsers including my client’s web browsers.

Contacted privately. Shortcode is still not working and is actually outputting code on the top of the page now. All shifts are displayed instead of the logged in current user’s shifts.

Perfect! It’s showing the two ongoing events (ending April 30th) when I check off Future Events Only now. Thank you very much for following up on this issue.

Any updates on whether this issue is being looked into for the next update?
