Thank you for your response. My question was concerning events that are concurrent, not recurring. If say I have a one-day conference, and I have three separate events that occur from 9am – 11am (with possibly any overlap) I was wondering if it was possible to display these sorts of events side by side or any other inline method, so that it confirms visually for the user that these events go on at the same time, on the same day, at the same conference/event.

Did they ever issue your refund? I recently “upgraded” to get premium features for the Social Feed plugin, and the plugin stopped working properly after that. The free version actually worked better than the paid one. Their response time on tickets is slow to non-existent and I am teetering on requesting a refund, just curious if they actually issued one to you or checked out completely from your request?

The above posted by @belimperial worked perfectly for me. Popups display and observe display conditions as set per popup.

I am having the exact same issue. Popup created to target the homepage only, and set to open on page load. Popup never loads, entire page remains frozen.

I just use SMTP, no mail service. It’s hosted mail on my client’s web host.

Sliders are working again – I set a width for the sliders (I previously had it set to none so that all sliders default to full container width and proportional height) but it somehow reverted to 0px width. I edited the width once more, and the sliders are definitely working with full container width.

I am currently pitching your Pro plugin to my clients, I hope that they will reach a consensus soon and decide to buy it for our purposes, provided that we can get this specific functionality squared away. I will readily admit my JS skills are a bit basic, as I usually set up JS according to the specifics of my projects, so writing JS code from scratch isn’t necessarily my forte. However, I am always open to learn and figure out how to adapt something to the needs of the website.

Once my clients give a green light and purchase the plugin, I can start a new ticket on your Support portal and continue there. Feel free to close this thread if you like, otherwise you or I could return to this thread with our solution. I’m quite certain it will be useful for others, as I haven’t been able to find any solution for this functionality elsewhere.

Seems there was an issue with Polylang, deactivated that plugin and it’s back to working.

I’ve done that, but even though the recurring event shows a shorter time span, events created through 2028 still show up in the main Events list. Those are not being cleaned up once the original recurring event series has been updated for a shorter time span.

On further checking, I still can’t get email from the Preview test to send, even though on the site it tells me the Preview test mail was sent successfully. All we see on our end is an error message auto generated to state that the Preview mail was rejected for being spam. I contacted our host about it and they don’t see any issues on their end for our sending email address.

One thing I did notice though, was that when I took out almost all external links on the Newsletter issue and then hit Send Preview, I received that message! So is Mailpoet not properly integrating links into the Newsletter message? If so, that’s a huge problem because all our Newsletter issues have plenty of links for people to follow, we can’t have an issue that doesn’t provide links to events or exhibits.

I had tried deactivating plugins and also switching to a different theme (a default WP theme) but I saw no difference. However, I’ve found that when I start an event from scratch, I can get the venue to save in that instance. Older events also have retained their Venue values fine. This may have been a case of one errant Event post not behaving properly, but it’s still a bit baffling why Venue of all things simply wouldn’t save on the back end, nor would it display on the front end.

I don’t see any Events template customizations in my theme folder (this is a child of twenty fourteen with some modifications, I did not write the child theme originally as I was brought on the project later). The functions do not contain any mods for Event Calendar either.

I’d say this is “resolved” since just starting a new event seems to work.

I resolved this using Javascript to override the content of the H1 in the header to say “blog” instead.

Any updates on this? Support for the Vantage-bb theme seems to be a bit scattershot. I can’t post to the BoldBlocks forum because apparently I’ve already posted (though I haven’t…wondering if this thread I’ve started counts towards my threads on BoldBlocks for some reason) and that forum hasn’t seen a fresh reply in at least 10 months. I tried posting to the SiteOrigins forum but my topic has gone ignored and still displays as “pending approval”. I don’t see any place on that forum to enter my theme’s purchase license to request premium help.

This problem persists and I can’t find a good workaround yet. Any help would be appreciated, it’s a very strange bug and no one else seems to be encountering it.

If I switch from using my custom DM template and to a stock template from the plugin, the page appears fixed and all downloads appear again. What has changed for DM custom templates that I can adjust in my theme?
