If you look at the existing code and themes, you can begin to see how wordpress shows posts, etc.. You could either
A) Disregard themes and essentially copy and paste most of the code into your website design, a more experienced wordpress user might be able to post some better advice on how to do that or..
B) Create a wordpress theme for wordpress that looks just like your website.
