In reply to: Problems with author's slugHi
I found the problem, although I don’t know what really causes it.
Apparently, plugins Author Avatars and CoAuthor Plus have some uncompatibilities. When I activate the last one, Author Avatars starts to point to wrong links.

In reply to: Problems with author's slugYes. You’re right. It’s a commercial theme called GrandCollege from ThemeForest. And I’ll try to have some support from them also.
But I’m pretty convicted that the trouble refers not to the theme but either to the plugin authoravatars or to a specification from my host’s .htaccess or something. (For you to understand, there’s a rule that doesn’t allow me to use permalinks for my pages/users. And this maybe one possible cause for this problem, IMHO.)
Thanks a lot.

In reply to: Problems with author's slugHey Seacoast Web Design
Thank you very much for your answer. But I think I was misunderstood.
What I actually tried to say is the I want my users profile link to point to their [id] and not to their name. If you enter this page:
https://www.uff.br/ppgcom/novosite/?page_id=178
you’ll see that every profile link is pointing to
https://www.uff.br/ppgcom/novosite?author_name
when they should be pointing to
https://www.uff.br/ppgcom/novosite/?author=%5Bid%5D
just as the correct profiles are showing:
https://www.uff.br/ppgcom/novosite/?author=3
So I do not understand where the problem is. Can you help me?
BTW, thanks for the sugestion. Actually I was contacted just to update this site and create a new theme. That’s why I’m hosting it for a moment in /novosite ??

In reply to: [Chameleon CSS] [Plugin: Chameleon CSS] Not able to add css filesI’m having another difficulty with Chameleon CSS.
I upload a CSS file and added it to Chameleon. It gives me the “loading” message and seems to add it, but the list from where I’m supposed to drag it to the left menu doesn’t show it. Could it be a new WP 3.2 issue? How can I solve this one plz?Forum: Themes and Templates
