Good morning

Actually, I solved the problem by downgrading the plugin to version 6.1.11 (using Rollback plugin)

In version 6.2.0, custom field with Textarea field type is read only, but it is editable as Text type. In version 6.1.11 it’s OK.

Please alert me if the problem is fixed, so I can update the plugin.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunatelly our licence for Custom Fields — Single Site is Expired on April 21, 2023, or I would contact you directly. I already notified my client for the renewing need.

For the other details:
– WP version: 6.2.2
– PHP version: 7.4.33
– Awesome Support: 6.1.3
– Awesome Support: Custom Fields: 2.0.1

The field we need to show in the filters in the bakoffice Tickets listing, is set to True in the Filterable option. It does says indeed that is only for taxonomies (Whether or not to add a filter based on the field (for taxonomies only)). Presently, it is set to Select field type, as it has a lot of options. The field is “Brand”, and has more than 28+ options. If I change it to taxonomy type, would the field behave in the same way in the form?

Same problem here, with version 6.4.1. The event page stopped loading only showing the preloader icon forever. Could not find the problem after digging the settings, plugins and theme, so I have no idea why.
The only solution was downgrading to version 6.3.
Also used the plugin “WP Rollback” to downgrade.

I would need the exactly same feature.
It’s a serious problem having the same customer book multiple reservations in the same day, same item. Because we have limited available slots, this customer locks others from making reservations.
This would be solved by having a lock for the customer to book the same day.

Please consider having this option in your settings.

I tried setting both, and both shows up in the cart, that is why I got confused. But your explanation makes it more clear.
I will stick with the Shipping zones > my_zone > Weight Based Shipping

Do you have more insights on this? Also, could you tell us if you were getting any errors in the error log file when this issue occurred? If yes, can you share it with us so that we can take a look at it and analyze the case?

I manage clients websites. This happened in 2 different websites, in different servers. Checked the error_log in both and found nothing related with the plugin, or the time it was updated.
Wordpress version is 5.9.1 in one of them, and 5.8.3 in the other.
Could be a conflict with some other plugin, but that requires a deep investigation. Disabling plugins is not an option as these are live sites. Both use WP Bakery, which could be a possible one.
I can try a stag copy to test…

Yes. Exactly.

I can add an extra option to disabled that feature. That is not a big issue. There are other features that can be disabled|enabled as well, I just never thought about the manage link.

That would be a nice and extra safe feature, easy to use. In the Settings, an option to hide the Manage link in the Data Explorer.

Yes, that was my first thought, when I saw there is a Roles tab in the settings. But I am a sites developer, and I have to hang over the site owner the backoffice access when the site is ready to go live. He already has a user account, with administrator level. There are many other site options, theme and plugin, that requires that level to manage. To follow that idea, I would have to lower the site owner level. I think he would not like that much…
I know he (or his employees) will only touch what I tell him to, and overall, there is no problems. The only one I saw that could be really dangerous, is the Manage with access to table features such as Truncate table, which would clear all content. If you know what that is (truncate table), fine, but if not…
Other options are too technical and I can easy explain not to touch them.
I already limited listing the 2 tables in the Explorer I need him to edit/add/delete content, so I think it will work.

In resume, you don’t need to make any changes on your excellent plugin. I will use CSS to hide the Manage icon, and that will solve my problem.

If nothing else, I can use CSS to hide those options I do not want managers to see.
Of course it will also hide them from me, but if no other solution, will do. And I can temporary remove the custom CSS if I need to access some of the options.
But if the plugin has those features, would be better.

Actually, the plugin author said:

Our posts are hidden in public so searching in frontend won’t provide any results.

It looks like I will never get results with a search in the public frontend…
Have to find an alternative.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll give it a try.
An alternative can be splitting Flipbooks into categories, and have sub-pages for each one. Than I can generate a master page and show categories. Not the ideal scenario, but it will work.

Actually, is another plugin which uses custom post type: PDF Flipbook, 3D Flipbook WordPress – DearFlip.
I also asked them, because they don’t have a search option. Yours could be a solution.

Tried to add the $wp_post_types[‘dflip’]->exclude_from_search = false; in my child theme functions file, but it did not work. I should not modify the original plugin.
