For setting up an email account on Dreamhost, don’t setup a forwarding account. Setup a Fully Hosted account. Did you do this?

If I understand your question correctly, you’d like your picture to be shown on the homepage with the yellow frame around it?

If so, you need to go into the page or post and set the featured image to the picture you’d like displayed.
