The method under seems helpful, but if I choose that, does that mean the content of a specific language would be moved to that subdomain’s directory automatically?

Because I already chose the “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks”, now my Chinese version is linked as xxx.com/cn/my-post

Plus, is it possible to just move the Chinese content out and then disable Polylang? Is there some way to do it in bulk or do I have to do it manually?

and btw, do you mind answering a question? I read the codex of child theme project, it says it’ll need the function.php to work properly, and there’s some launch code needs to enter in the file, I have no idea what it is talking about, the eunqueue script, do you know what to do with it? Coz I don’t have that file in my child theme and it works nonetheless. It works like an accelerating feature I think.

Just the default setting on front page, just not sure what’s the exact file doing the function, or I’d find that now.

I’m using a child theme folder, so should I just copy content-page.php and content-front-page.php to my folder? And how to implement them into the theme? The instruction says the style.css is using the harmonic’s template, so I’m not sure the content-front and content-page are working as the child template.

If not, please post a pic depicting your problems.

Simple, download FileZilla to your PC, it’s an application that establishes FTP connection to your server, if you know the path of your images, just drag them to the left panel if I remember correctly.

Or,

You can just go to your media library, click onto the image you wish to download, right click, click open it in a new tab, this will open the original file on browser, right click the image to save to your computer.

But note that if you wish to fetch large files this would not be the correct way to do it, so it’ll still resort to the first method

Another dumb way is just create a post and post your pics on it, and repeat the second procedure above.
