Thanks for the prompt response. Someday you might pick up a copy of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, a cult classic from the 1970s by Robert Pirsig. In the first part of the book the main character recounts his experience as a technical writer for a manufacturing company that built barbecue grills. Shortly after reading the book I went to work developing training materials and later worked both as a programmer and systems analyst. That book taught me lessons that I carried the rest of my career. The rest of the book is a great read, but completely off subject for this message.

Well, actually I have been considering my next step. Since utterly crippling my website by de-activating all my plugins is an insane request, I guess I am forced to look for a different solution. Would you be willing to take your website down if the roles were reversed? I doubt it; especially since yours is the only plugin that is misbehaving AND mine is not the only site experiencing the same problem.

Have not tried to delete and re-install because I was afraid of damaging existing galleries and albums.

I went to the “duplicate post” settings but the saw no “tabs” that could be selected in order to configure duplicate options. Nowhere was there any mention of tabs in the settings for “duplicate post.”

Ensured Settings>Permalinks were set to name, saved the settings and then it worked great. Thanks.
