In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] WP_MEMORY_LIMIT & BackWPUp@duongcuong96 I reduced the size of the backup on the second site and the problem went away. Before I reduced it, the resultant backup zip file was approx 1.4GB, now it’s about 0.5GB. I was previously backing up some folders outside the WP installation, and now I’m not.
Thanks for checking in again.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] WP_MEMORY_LIMIT & BackWPUpThanks for your reply.
Those recommendations worked for one of my two sites, but not the other, but I’ll do some more testing anyway. I accept those initial settings were low.
Cheers,
Conor
Thanks for the update.
I’m happy to wait.
FYI, I’d already unchecked the notifications checkboxes and it doesn’t stop the flood of emails of stats for an existing email newsletter. I haven’t tried a new newsletter.
Would be grateful if you could reply here when the fix is released please.
Just rolled back to 3.46.8 using WP-CLI…
Strange approach to asking for assistance then.
Yes, I’m also on the receiving end of 100s of stats emails today. Had a Mailpoet plugin upgrade this morning, so I assume the culprit’s in there somewhere.
@tomgarlick not sure abusing the plugin authors here is particularly helpful. Are you a paid subscriber?
Any update on this issue?
I love BackWPUp, but it’s causing me this error on a site with CiviCRM also installed.
Thanks so much, that’s really helpful.
Yep, updating my robots.txt has taken the load right off.
I also had to disallow /search/:
User-Agent: *
Allow: /
Disallow: /*?*s=
Disallow: /search/Am still not quite understanding how somebody searching is somehow driving the googlebot to index search pages, but at least my problem has been resolved.
Thanks again Dave.
Cheers,
Conor
Hi,
Any update on this issue please, as I’m now striking the same problem.
Cheers,
Conor
Nice work, thanks for the update. ??
Thanks @wysija, have tried both of those, and it’s still behaving the same.
Will contact you directly.
Adding those two lines to mailpoet.php doesn’t seem to have made a difference, no, unfortunately.
Is the timezone reference in that other post likely relevant to my issue?
This site is probably set to a timezone UTC+12 whereas the server is set to UTC.Thanks for replying.
I appreciate hearing that there is some reason why today’s update is causing this behaviour.
I am using it on a number of sites.
However, the site in question has exactly one subscriber, and no newsletters yet.
6 hours later, still seeing log entries every 20 secs.Doesn’t seem right?
I suspect my issue is the same.
Since my Mailpoet plugin auto-updated 6 hours ago, the CPU usage on my server has tripled (albeit still not high).
Even though my Mailpoet scheduler is set to “Visitors to your website (recommended)”, I’m now getting the following logged in my server access log at approx 20 second intervals:
“GET /?mailpoet_router&endpoint=cron_daemon&action=run&data=eyJ0b”
Please advise?Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: I just updated to 4.7 and lost the multisiteYes, I also upgraded my multisite to 4.7 and afterwards, I was told I had no permissions to access any pages under /wp-login/
Going back to my last backup, but it’s disappointing.
