No, the problem didn’t go away when I switched to Twenty Fifteen. Unfortunately it just caused more issues because I couldn’t get it switched back to my original design. It took a lot of work to get it back to it’s original look. I understand that you weren’t trying to force me into a new theme but if all the work that I had on my original theme disappears, I’m not seeing the benefit of switching it. I would have to pay the web designer $$$ to redo my blog.

Also, when I did all this Jetpack said I had zero followers. Panic! I have over 5,300 and I thought I had lost them all. I’m not a computer genius and deleting Jetpack was the biggest nightmare ever. I don’t know if that would ever be a good suggestion to anyone to do unless they truly understand WordPress and all their codes.

My wonderful hubby took the day off and he came to my rescue. He got Jetpack back to where it should be, he got my subscribers back, and he fixed the issue with the August 19th post coming up by deleting the Expired Cache in the WP Super Cache Plugin.

Thanks for your suggestion James but no luck. I deactivated every plugin but the link still goes back to August 19th. I don’t see where I have added a sticky post. I don’t have a plugin for sticky posts. Luckily I did a backup before I started because when I tried to switch to Twenty Fifteen all the work my web designer did on my blog disappeared so I had to restore it back.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
