In reply to: PHP errorDid you ever get this fixed? I’m having the same problem with a site using Bluehost, and they’re not helping. The php.ini is already enabling magick wand extension. Advice?

In reply to: [Leverage Browser Caching Ninjas] 500 Internal Server ErrorI followed the instructions from your email sent about how to replace the htaccess file with the plugin’s installed file, and it didn’t restore anything. Had to restore entire site with my own backup files and erased all memories of this plugin. The experience has been disappointing because it came highly recommended. Hopefully, whatever has caused myself and others to receive a 500 error after installation is fixed in the near future.

In reply to: [Leverage Browser Caching Ninjas] 500 Internal Server ErrorFYI – This is everything I’ve done to try and correct the error so far:
1) Checked error files which stated the following:.
htaccess: RewriteRule: bad flag delimiters
2) Renamed the htaccess file, as well as tried using the older version prior to plugin being installed.
3) Deactivated all plugins.
4) Reloaded all WP core files
5) Uploaded latest theme main files, not the child files
6) Increased memory
7) Contacted hosting company several times which can’t locate problem.I’m at a loss at this point.

In reply to: [Leverage Browser Caching Ninjas] ErrorI see that your site is back up, again. I’m having the same issue. Any advice on how you got it fixed?
Nevermind. A new theme update solved the problem.
Solved my own problem. If you’ve installed these plugins and use a MAC with the keychain feature, remove the username and password, as well as the merchant ID and pin, credentials from the keychain. Otherwise, it will populate them automatically using the WP info.

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Parse ErrorReally need help. Can’t find anything online to help me resolve this.
Correction to the above comment: It’s not that they’re not compatible. WordPress HTTPS caused a redirect loop to occur in the admin panel because Force SSL Exclusively was checked in its settings. After unchecking it, everything worked fine again, including the Hide Backend feature in iThemes. Captcha is no longer affected either.
I found the problem in my particular site and hope it will help someone else. The new iThemes Security wasn’t working with a previous setting I had in my WordPress HTTPS plugin. Captcha was also affected by this. In WP HTTPS, you have to make sure that Force SSL Exclusively is unchecked. That’s it!
Some of you may also benefit from reseting iThemes Security , which may be the only solution needed for your site.
Best of luck!
Here’s what I came across on my site that may be of help. The new iThemes Security isn’t compatible with WordPress HTTPS and/or Captcha plugins. After reseting iThemes Security, I deactivated the other two and Hide Backend feature works fine now. This also solved some other minor problems I was having.

In reply to: Preview Changes not workingOk. Installing WP again didn’t solve it. But I did find 2 plugins, Captcha and WP HTTPS, that weren’t working with the new version of iThemes Security (iT Sec).
After reseting iT Sec, I fixed the problem by unchecking Force SSL Exclusively box within the WordPress HTTPS settings. It solved multiple issues.

In reply to: Preview Changes not workingMacManX – Yes, it does.
Brice,
You have to temporarily rename the better-wp-security plugin folder to something else in your Plesk or Cpanel (e.g. better-wp-security1) to login.
Then, you have to delete the iTheme Security files from the dashboard and reinstall them, again, to have access to the prior plugin settings. This exercise has to be repeated every time you login.
