Hi,
The plot thickens. I researched a bit more. My AdBlocker Plus Chrome extension was blocking the Social Icon block from showing on the Chrome website and in WP. I disabled that for my websites and the icons are showing now.
I cleared the cache on my website and Chrome like 10 times. Looks like that was the issue! Thanks again.
Hi I deactivated Jetpack and was able to see the Social Icon block in edit mode, and created a new set of Facebook, Insta, LinkedIn, and saved it. I was able to reuse it on other pages.
BUT, it is not visible on the actual website in Google Chrome. But the block is visible via mobile and stealth mode in Google. I have cleared the cache several times in WP.
If you can tell me whether you see the icons at the bottom of connect2self.com/about, that would be awesome.
Base on this experience, I would say that Jetpack plugin is not working with WP for some reason.
I first posted on the WP.org and someone told me to post here with my lack of social icon issues. Appreciate your replies and tips thus far. Thank you.
Thank you for the video. NOTHING happens after I click on “the”+”, then “Social Icon” – there is no follow up screen to click on “+” and choose the social icons.
Should I delete Jetpack Plugin and reload it? Is this a Jetpack plugin issue?
Sue
Thank you for replying! Here’s the screenshot of Social Icon block and nothing happening on the page.
Sorry I don’t know how to paste the image URL here. Here is a public link: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGTku_MGFk/S1Yo93YP90j2fkP5Rz1o6g/view?utm_content=DAGTku_MGFk&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=editor
Also screenshot of the JetPack Sharing screen with NO buttons.

In reply to: [Pictorial] Homepage thumbnail isn't showing on FBZulf,
Thank you for the reply. I found that at first, it was the JetPack plugin that was causing the problem. When I deactivated it, the thumbnail would show. When I activated it again, the thumbnail disappeared.
I read somewhere that caching might be the problem.
I cleared the cache on my Google Chrome (I downloads tens of themes over the week), re-activated the JetPack and the thumbnail of the homepage showed. Lesson learned. I may switch back to Pictorial -very clear, crisp theme. Thanks again.
