I appreciate the clarification. I’m still a bit confused as to why there’s cron settings in the plugin if it’s only meant to run once. And as far as the malformed titles, it’s not that the HTML is bad, it’s that the HTML is passed to WP’s title field, yielding a title like “Some Person” To clear that up in future versions, it might help to strip HTML from anything that’s going into the title field.

Edit: Another thing I’ve noticed is that if a video doesn’t have a description, the URL of the video is used as the title. Not sure what would help there.

Thanks for looking into this. If we do end up using this calendar/events system, there’ll definitely be a donation going your way. If it ends up working, it looks like the best event/calendar system available for WordPress.
