confused

I changed it to a php in file manager, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

It’s possible I’m asking for something that doesn’t exist. I wanted all my parent pages listed in a horizonatal menu across the header, and have the subpages only appear when you click or hover over the parent page. Is that possible?

Have tried to remove everything from wp-content to fading_flowers and leaving only mastead but it still isn’t working.

So I tried changing the stylesheet, didn’t help, so I removed Fading Flowers, changed the stylesheet on my computer then reloaded and still did not make any difference. Have I typed the directory wrong?

Okay, so do I change my directory for the images or correct the stylesheet?

I changed Fading Flowers to fading_flowers but it made no difference. I removed it and then reloaded it but still no difference. I went into my Theme Editor and there was a stylesheet loaded for Fading Flowers so I compared it to the unzipped copy on my computer and they matched. What should I be looking for?

I actually did it! I figured out how to create a directory for the theme, uploaded them from my computer and they are now in my wordpress. Only one more problem to solve. It doesn’t quite look right! Argh! Anyway, thanks everyone for your help! What a great forum!

Wait! I found it. Still haven’t figured out how to create a new directory, but I did at least find wp-content/themes.

This is where I connected: mydomainname.com. I had a password and it let me in. There was a list of. . .things, I don’t know what for, but I saw a “directory” folder but no wp-content folder. The instructions say to create a directory in the wp-content/themes directory but couldn’t find it.

Alright, I got a WinZip program, extracted the files, saved them on my computer and found my FTP Client. Now, not sure what to do. I think I got in to my FTP directory but was lost so got out again. What do I do next?

Either way I cannot open or save to disk without the pop up box asking where to? I don’t have a WinZip program so does that mean I can’t download any themes?
