In reply to: [Friends] No post title when answering to a federated postThat can be a game changer for the plugin and the logic. If It can be also linkeable it will rock so people can follow easily where the replies comes from.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Remote-Reply lightboxAll right!!! Wow, amazing!!! Thanks for the good work.
Now that I’m here I comment about another simple issue: why when I answer via Friends a publication on the Fediverse it creates a post without a title? Look here: https://comunicacionabierta.net/2024/02/14574/
I’ve set a title myself but there’s even no way to know what I’m answering to. I guess I’m doing something worng but… what?
Thanks!!!

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Not working on Siteground serversThey tell me this:
As I understand it, there is a problem with accessing the .well-known folder. Note that .htaccess rewrites will not work because the request is served directly from the Nginx service. Our configuration implementation for the .well-known directory allows us to complete different system tasks such as the validation process during the issuance of Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, for example.
I’m afraid we can’t make changes to the above configuration. You should check with plugin support if it is possible to use a custom directory instead of .well-known as this will not work with our current configuration.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Not working on Siteground serversOh, bad news then. Is there anything I could tell to the tech support so they stop blocking it? Any technical recommendation?
I guess they do that for security reasons but maybe there is a way to allow it just for ActivityPub.
Thanks!

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Doesn’t work at allNah, it doesn’t work either… The RewriteEngine is on by default with the Siteground Optimizer plugin so it should work out of the box but it doesn’t.
As ActivityPub is already a canon I think they must have an idea how to solve it. I’ll pass the hot potatoe to their hands and see if there is any response.
Thanks!

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Doesn’t work at allHi! After the launch today of the 1.0 version of the plugin I was hoping this would be solved. I use Siteground hosting as well and my site https://comunicacionabierta.net has exactly the same issue as you all mention.
Any ideas how to solve it?
Thanks!
Thanks for the answer! What’s weird is that it happens after weeks or months has passed, is that normal as a plugin conflict? Shouldn’t it be automatically?
Thanks!
