Well isn’t there a way to simply turn off this link… I don’t want them to be able to register at all. I don’t want to have to create a my_better_page… looking for just a simple disable of this. Else I’m going to hide it with CSS.
Thanks!

WP Hide DashboardIf you think though its Jetpack & SliderPro causing the issue… I could try those other plugins. But let me know, thanks!

I stated this as “confusing” because it takes you to a non sign-up page by default… here is the page that this link is at:
If you click on it its a page with no sign up… but has some features from the website. I would have thought it would have had at least a generic sign-up. Anyways preference is to control the user sign-up so would prefer to not have a link at all on that page. Is there a way to take this out?
Thank you…
CKI have not setup their own signup/registration page… in fact I would like to see this confusing link disappear. I suppose I could hide it in CSS but any other ideas how to disable this?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Hide Dashboard] Multisite – 3.4.2 – Can see Dashboard for SubscriberSo I updated WordPress to the latest and so everything is current.
The user I am logged in as is a Subscriber. Its hiding more of the stuff however I still see a few things.
My Sites and Slider PRO and Jetpack
Though when clicking on anything of the Slider PRO, it says you don’t have permissions to be in there.
So that is good. But why does it appear at all, would prefer for that to be hidden. Jetpack it looks like all they can get to is a Learn More but not sure why this shows up when clicking on their Profile page (to change their password). But… is there any way of actually really hiding the Dashboard and not seeing the black toolbar that goes clear across with these few options? I understand that you may need it though to get to the user’s profile which I’m able to do so that a password can be changed. But wondering if there is any other way of not giving up this real estate space for a Dashboard in order to just get to a profile to change a password (for them to change it actually).
Please let me know.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Hide Dashboard] Multisite – 3.4.2 – Can see Dashboard for SubscriberOkay so attempting to use version 2.2 of WP Hide Dashboard. I will though update WordPress to the latest… and give this a try again so will be back… I am though first going to have the client run a backup of this Multisite before doing the update so may be a day or two until I’m back.
Thanks for your help!!
Nevermind I got it to work! Just clicked on insert image, browse to Nextgen, chose Singlepic and it defaults to 320×240 but that is easily fixable just modify those settings.

In reply to: Is there a good shopping cart solution? The WP-ecommerce one… do you have other suggestions or does this one work pretty well? I have seen mixed reviews.
What I would really like is a shopping cart that once someone purchases something, I not only get a notification but I can then purchase a shipping label and print it out. Just like paypal where it makes it easy to print the packing slip and pay and print for the shipping label. Not sure thats how you can get the shopping carts to work too as obviously I am a newbie and looking into all this.
Thanks for the feedback.
