I have to admit that through their website the support is great. They let me know about the process of updating the system which didn’t make a lot of sense to be honest but they did try.
I figured it out myself.
I put the site into maintenance mode (behind a maintenance screen), disabled DIVI that I was using and disabled every plugin. They updated the plugin as normal. I then clicked on the support candy (support) menu item and it firstly said I didn’t have permission to see the screen, so I refreshed the browser clicked it again and it presented me with the option to upgrade the database which I did. This took a few minutes and then it was all up and running.
Enabled all of the disabled plugins and then the DIVI theme again and its all working.
Weird but it obviously didn’t like something that was in stalled but its working.
Hope it helps others
Nothing as yet Mike. I have created a ticket on their website now so I am hoping that they can help.
Forgive my bluntness here, but is anyone from Support Candy actually going to reply to help resolve this issue or do we have to look for a new ticket system that actually works?
can you let us know how you upgraded? as a normal update to the plugin just knocks it all out and just displays the shortcode. When updating it doesn’t show anything in the back end about upgrading at all.
is there any help on getting the update working please?
Ive been using this plugin for years now and nothing works after the update!no, nothing appears other than the usual update of the plugin. It updates as it should (with no errors) but then does not display anything other than the shortcode. reverting back to an earlier version solves this so I can still use the plugin, but means that I cannot update it.
Any ideas?

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Cannot upload DocumentsAll sorted as this was to do with the post options so I headed over to Dashboard > Memphis Docs > Options > Settings > Post Options and selected _self and that solved it.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Cannot upload DocumentsThis seems to be a conflict with MECalendar plug as I have changed the default event main slug to another name and when trying to upload files to the Memphis Docs library, the 404 error now goes to the new slug I set for the calendar plugin..
I have also changed the permalinks to try different options but still the same issue.
is there a way to change this in Memphis Docs so it goes to the correct place please?

In reply to: [WP Support Plus Responsive Ticket System] Email Notification not workingthis has now been rectified.
The problem seemed to be sending the notification to both the agent and the customer didn’t work so i created a new notification for the agent so that they were separate notification.
Support was quite responsive from their site too.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Remove sidebar from preview pagesHi all,
Silly me, been a long day!!
For those with the same issue, MD creates each document as a post, just list your posts from the dashboard in WordPress and then edit each one so that you can remove or display the sidebar of your choice.Cheers….
