Hi again. I was able to recreate the field in the default group profile fields manager. Also was able to find the switched mentioned.
Many thanks!
Hi, @registrationmagicsupport ,
I checked the link provided, but didn’t get much out of it. The screenshots don’t have instructions. Also, it appears some screenshots were out of date. The Mailpoet fields were under a separate link.
In my default group, I have enabled Mailpoet, and selected each of my 4 Mailpoet lists to show on the front end. The 4 check boxes now appear on the registration form.
I went to Registration Magic >> All Forms >> Dashboard (under the Registration form) >> then finally General Settings. Enable WordPress User Account Creation is already “ON.”
HELP! – On the Group Manager > Default Group > Profile Fields Manager, I accidentally clicked Delete Section on the main sign-up fields. How can I get those back?

Hi @guicmazeredo ,
Just to be clear, the original image works on the site. It is the image for the site logo. I don’t think it is a corrupted file, since it is used elsewhere on the site.
I uploaded another copy of the image in a slightly smaller size and different name, but otherwise exactly the same image visually. Then I used that image only for MailPoet.
Hope that clears things up. ??
Hi @pulak00 ,
I installed the Beta plugin on my staging site, and I see that one of the two issues is fixed.
- Fixed: Visibility now shows an actual number (6 mi) instead of zero (0 mi).
- Not fixed: This is the same as before. The icon beside the temperature is still missing. It says “temperature icon” instead. When I view the preview inside the plugin, the icon displays, but then it does not appear on the site.
Please take another look at the fix.
Many thanks.

Apologies, but I am having difficulty understanding your reply.
I have the main default group for all users who register. I have 4 newsletters in MailPoet.
Question 1: I want the user to see all of the options for newsletter sign ups WHEN they are signing up. Then I want them to be able to manage their newsletter selections on their user profile. Is there a way to do this?
Question 2: Can one single group (default group, for example) multiple newsletters? And can the user choose from that list or will they be subscribed to all?
Thanks.
Hi again @profilegrid0 ,
Thanks for your help. Is it better to have 4 groups, and assign 1 newsletter to each?
I think I might have set things up incorrectly because I started with MailPoet and 4 newsletters, not with ProfileGrid and 4 groups.
The secreenshots on the linked page you provided are a bit small, even when I go full-screen. On the Edit List screen, it shows a switch at the bottom, “Show Opt-In Checkbox.” I thought this would enable my list of MailPoet newsletters. Is this correct? Or does it enable an opt-in list of Groups?
Sorry for my ignorance, but when you say “mapped” what do you mean? Could you please define/describe mapping?
Thanks!
Hi @profilegrid0 ,
I have installed the Mailpoet integration in ProfileGrid and my list of 4 Mailpowet newsletters is visible in ProfileGrid > MailPoet (Mailpoet list).
Right now, I have one group, with 4 newsletters. I think I might be setting this up incorrectly. My main default group, ActionsUSA Community contains all users. Under Extension Options, MailPoet = ON and I have selected my four newsletters in the Mailpoet list. Enable MailPoet Tab = ON.
I am using the RegistrationMagic form, which has checkboxes for the 4 newsletters.
When signed in as a user, I did not see the list of newsletters under the Settings tab, just a link to Newsletters. It took me a while to figure out I had to click Settings, then Newsletters. Unfortunately, this really buries the selections deep in the profile, and doesn’t help encourage sign-ups.
How can I make the newsletter sign-up more visible to users? The reason they register will be to get on these newsletter lists. A selling point.
Since each of the newsletters is optional and related to a specific need (not a general newsletter to all users), should I be asking users to subscribe to 1 or more groups upon registration, and then offer 1 newsletter per each group?

Hi,
Thanks for the directions. I turned off the blog in User Blogs and Profile Tabs.
I have installed the MailPoet Integration for ProfileGrid.
Can I display the user’s newsletter selections (for MailPoet) inside a ProfileGrid profile page? If so, how do I do this?
Thanks for your help.
I need a bit more information to make RegistrationMagic work.
I purchased a license for RegistrationMagic, and then also installed the other plugin from Metagauss, ProfileGrid (free version) to take advantage of the profile features.
I am using the RegistrationMagic login/registration forms, not ProfileGrid, since I already had those set up. Then I installed the MailPoet addon for ProfileGrid.
My registration form has checkboxes for MailPoet newsletters that the user can choose from. I want to have these choices shown inside the user’s profile (ProfileGrid).
So far, I do not see the checkboxes in the user’s profile, so they can change their selections later.
Questions:
- How can I display the newsletter checkboxes in the profile?
- How can I add the newsletter selections from the user into the WordPress Users list, so that they become part of the database?
Many thanks!
Thanks for this clarification. I have been working with RegistrationMagic on my site, and have had good luck so far with the free version. Does RegistrationMagic have a MailPoet addon?
Update: I created a new image and uploaded it to the media folder, then placed it in a MailPoet email. It is a .PNG format file, same as the original image I had uploaded for the site logo. This time, the newly uploaded image did appear in the email to my test users. It was not a different file format, just a unique copy of the image.
Questions:
- If I buy ARMember paid version, does that plugin have the ability to work with MailPoet?
- And does ARMember work with any other email newsletter plugins?
Thank you for your assistance.
What type of custom coding did you do? Did it involve the checkboxes?
Hi @mrejhan ,
Thanks for the suggestion. I think I did try that, but I will look at it again. Should I be using a different uploaded image file that is not also being used as the site logo?
Thanks for the suggestion. This is what I ended up implementing.
It would be handy for PMP to be able to add subscription data from the mail plugin into a user record.
Something to consider.
