Do you mean via CSS or do you mean that the Classified theme has settings that can be changed to look more like the rest of the site?

I have not used a child theme before, and will have to find out how to do it, in addition to making any adjustments.

Question: Can the Classified theme be used as a child theme?

Thanks for the links. I had read these, but was stuck, as it talks about a simple default case and existing templates that I didn’t have. Before I purchased the Ditty RSS I was not aware that CSS would be required to design the layouts. I’m a bit rusty on CSS.

Thanks also for the Layout download. I have that in my Ditty layouts, now.

I did manage to create a Display that was passable for my needs, but have no idea how to use that. So far, I have an RSS feed, a Template, and a Display.

This is not too terrible except that the text of the post from the RSS is really long. It needs to be cut off with a {more} or a “…” of some kind.

I created a “Display” and managed to do some styling. I like how the demo of my Display looks on the backend, but have no clue how that ties to an RSS feed that appears on the front end.

I want to do this:

• Put an RSS feed in a Ticker that I can place on the site as needed via the shortcode.
• Make a pretty looking RSS feed by using whatever method(s) are required to do that.
• So far, :-/

Also having difficulty with the Settings > Global Ditty panel.

When I put my cursor on the panel, it moves with my mouse, instead of allowing the cursor to move from selection to selection. I can almost use it if I move the mouse onto the panel from one side, but then the cursor locks on the box and moves up/down with the mouse.

A bug?

For anyone else with this issue, I found that by logging into ProfileGrid.co and viewing my receipt, I could see a list of my keys. MailPoet, for me is one of those keys. While logged in, I copied the key, then went to the ProfileGrid > Licenses page, where I pasted in the key and clicked Activate. (Note: It appeared that being logged in at ProfileGrid.co was necessary.)

The site is in English. The target language would also be English.

1. Can I go from English to English? That is, choose English as the language to “translate” into?
2. If I implement English to English, does it wipe out the original text in ProfileGrid, or does that info remain?
3. When I update ProfileGrid, do my translations remain in place? (I assume this is true, but thought I should ask.)

I looked at the link you provided for translating ProfileGrid.

I am not translating the text from English into another language, and I do not intend to submit my edited text to ProfileGrid development to be included in their translations.

Example:

Original Message: “Login required to view this page. Please Login.”

Desired Message: “The page you’re looking for is for members. To access this page, please log in (link). Not a member? Join today (link).

As you can see, I am still using English, but making the message more specific.

How can I change the text of the messages without submitting the changes to WordPress development?

For other users trying to display the Temperature icon on the front end:

In Siteground’s plugin Speed Optimizer > Media, under Media Optimization, I have Lazy Load Media “ON.” Under Exclude CSS Classes from Lazy Load, I entered a new class, ‘weather-icon’.

Again, thanks for the patch you had sent directly to me, which addresses the “Visibility = 0 miles” issue.

When will your team release the patched version of Location Weather that includes the Visibility patch? When this is out, I will update on my live site.

Note: Siteground Speed Optimizer/Media had a class named ‘skip-lazy’ already in use. I think this was pre-entered in Speed Optimizer. Perhaps Location Weather could use that class for the Temperature icon?

I checked the link provided, but didn’t get much out of it. The screenshots don’t have instructions. Also, it appears some screenshots were out of date. The Mailpoet fields were under a separate link.

In my default group, I have enabled Mailpoet, and selected each of my 4 Mailpoet lists to show on the front end. The 4 check boxes now appear on the registration form.

I went to Registration Magic >> All Forms >> Dashboard (under the Registration form) >> then finally General Settings. Enable WordPress User Account Creation is already “ON.”

HELP! – On the Group Manager > Default Group > Profile Fields Manager, I accidentally clicked Delete Section on the main sign-up fields. How can I get those back?
