Likewise. I’m working with WP 3.8.1 and no New “Site – Address” seems to work.
Also, the documentation for that field isn’t very clear. It says, “Only lowercase letters (a-z) and numbers are allowed”, but follows up with a url example with periods and backslashes. I’ve tried with the url I’d like it to have and a handful of nonsensical combinations trying to get something in the log file.
