In reply to: Auto Update Failed and Site Now Not LoadingI really am a dumbass sorry
Can’t seem to find wp_options.
Given the list I made above is twentyten the only other theme or are classic/
default/
graphene/ also themes?
Also how do I add -old. I thought I could right click on the folders and get a rename option but all I get is
Open link in a new tab
Open link in a new window
Open link incognito window
Save as link
Copy as link
Inspect elementForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Auto Update Failed and Site Now Not LoadingNot even sure of that to be honest. How can I check?

In reply to: Auto Update Failed and Site Now Not LoadingReally confused here sorry.
Within the sub folders of wp-content/themes are
classic/
default/
graphene/
index.php
twentyeleven/
twentyten/
I don’t really know which one to change to “-old” and when I right click on any folder it doesn’t give me the option of renaming it anyway.

In reply to: Looking to change theme on customised siteCheers Cubecolour. Now just to find where to locate the theme stylesheet lol!
Should it be in httpdocs when I log into the ftp?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Looking to change theme on customised site@ Cubecolour. Thanks for the quick reply #eee is white eh? Where would I make this change do I have to log into the cpanel or just the ftp?
@ Ryan Yu. Again thanks for the quick reply. I think I will be sticking to the first option. I’m reasonably happy with how the site is performing from an SEO point of view particularly on google.ie. I guess I code set up 301 redirects for all the pages on the site but there is alot of content and it would be alot of hassle. People can and have carried out mobile transactions on the site eventhough it is not the easiest mobile site to use.
Really looking to make the look perhaps a bit more friendly and less dated and take it from there.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: My site seems very slowI clicked on link and left it try to load for 2 minutes before giving up as it still had not loaded.
I would seriously suggest getting in touch with your web hosting company for support.
Sorry I can be of more help.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Home page Appearance Problem in Internet ExplorerI did hire someone local through Odesk but they told me they couldn’t resolve the matter so I paid them off and moved on as they had done most of the editing work I asked them to do whilst making a mess of how the site looks in IE.
Thanks for the link alot for me to take in there. Do I simply follow the instructions and make changes through the html in wordpress?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: I Edited Page on Site but URL has changedI finally think I done what I was supposed to do. I added the redirect code as recommended above. I added this at the bottom of the page after WordPress Ends.
Have tested it on google but still getting the Oops broken link message. Does it take some time to kick in or have I done something wrong? Should I also being doing something on Webmaster Tools?
