yup tried that – and this is happened on multiple installs with different themes/plugin combos – deactived everything and switched to defualt and still didn’t work

Odd that is was working for you CrouchingBruin – I guess the code just hates me. Every time I’ve tried it the cursor is position at the beginning of the link.

I’ll play around more with that – it looks like it leaves the cursor in the middle of the link, I’ll have to see if thats better or worse than where it leaves it the other way.

I know it seems like a silly thing, but when one of your primary functions in WP is the add a link, having the cursor end up at the start of anchor text was a nice feature.

This happens if you put the link in before the anchor text

So before 3.6, you could click add the link, put in the link you wanted and then click add a link – it would put the link in the post like this

Where there was no anchor text, but the cursor was left right where the anchor text should be, so you could type that right away.

Now if you insert the link before having anchor text, it drops the cursor at the start of the link, not in the right place to add anchor text.

Anything? Is the automatic upgrade just pretty much toast now?

I’m also have the same issue–does anyone have any ideas outside of the manual upgrade? I’m hoping that the automatic upgrade isn’t broken with the 3.1 changes now.

I used the widget that was with the theme to add in what I wanted in the sidebar…

So any other theme I switch to, the permalinks do work and return results.

What page should I be looking at for the code to make sure it matches on this new theme?

Is there please one person out here who can help? Is there not a single person willing to assist? I’ve been doing this for weeks, and in tears at various points with frustrations

UPDATE. I went through and de-activated the yahoo plug in and changed the permalinks back to default, now all the catergories return this for results

If anyone could help I’d appericate it. This is the second time for the post, and I can’t find this issues anyhwere else

I have gone through some, but my problem is the site is hosted on yahoo so I can’t edit the .htaccess file. Or can I? Is there a fix or a way on yahoo?

I have set the permalink structure now back to the defauly, and when I click on a catergory from the main column it doesn’t filter out the results, it returns everything–catergory link looks like this
