Yes I downloaded the plugin again and cleared all the caches it now seems to be working. Sadly that is not the only issue with the new WP update, they always screw up something LOL

I’ve tried everything you suggested it still doesn’t work this is the url I get when I try to set it up and get the bad parameter message

I use Bigscoots as my host, what other information would you need?

Yep just tested it and I still get the same error.

hoped the new 4.9.7 would resolve this issue but it has not. Where is the FIX for this WP?

Still no resolution to this topic???? Where are you WP? So many of us with this problem where is the fix?

okay got that bit working on the merge now hopefully it all works out without too much work to repair.

LOL I think so. I have a domain name site which is a .org and hosted on BlueHost, I also have a blog hosted on wordpress.com and linked to my website.

I want to remove the domain name on my existing site and change it to my wordpress.com name and register that as my domain name. So blahblah.com (I will not renew that as a domain name) and xyuxyu.wordpress.com (I will register that as a new self hosted domain name) then hope to merge the two so that xyuxyu becomes just the hosted website.
