Are you using GoDaddy’s hosting? I’ve searched “wordpress dashboard messed up” in Google and dozens of topics come out. You might want to read through them and check for a possible solution, as I’ve read a lot of them! If none of them work and you’ve tried everything, reply back here ??

Try disabling all the plugins and see if it works. If not, try opening in different browsers.

The visual tools are there. For instance, click in “advanced paragraph” and more will come up. The problem there is that your dashboard is all messed up. Are you sure you didn’t change anything like path destinations manually? In FTP or something like that. What did you do last time you accessed your dashboard?

No, you need to upload them somewhere like https://postimage.org/ and then post here the links. Either way, go through the links I just mentioned, I’m sure you’ll find a solution suitable for you.

So what you’re saying is that no matter in which tab you are, Visual or HTML, the tools are the same, right?

In the upper right corner of the message box can you see the Visual and HTML tabs?

I’m glad you figured it out ?? I didn’t know about the existence of that button though! By default my WordPress shows the two lines, I suppose.

Nice ?? Don’t forget to update the wp-config.php file with the new database credentials. The file is located in WordPress’ main directory.

Did they provide any username or password? They must in order for you to be able to login to phpmyadmin.

(After you have those credentials right, you’ll insert them in the WordPress’s config file so that it can connect to the database.)

You’re probably in the HTML tab. In the upper right corner of the message box you can select between “Visual” and “HTML”. The paragraph formatting options are in the “Visual” tab.

estiner have you found a solution? It’s happening to me aswell right now.

It doesn’t contain the <img> tag, however I can change it in the originally said ‘get_image_tag’ filter and it works! Thank you ??

@esmi – Imagine I need to add an id= attribute to every picture uploaded.

@bcworkz – That’s nice. However I see the <a> is missing from the code. Why is that? All I can manipulate is the <img> tag.
