I was able to get it to stop by rolling back the Yoast plugin to 15.0
I used the WP Rollback Plugin Version 1.7.1 | By Impress.org
After installing go to your installed plugins and you will see the rollback option. I deleted my log file and haven’t seen a new one appear like before.
