So are you having an account at alipay.com instead of global.alipay.com?
What is the the url slug of your checkout page? Form what I know if the url contains non-english character, the illegal_sign error occurs when using GET method. This bug has been fixed in the latest version but I haven’t encounter this problem with POST method.

This plugin is not tested with qTranslate, I’m not sure if there is a issue with that.

多谢告知，你说的这个确实是个bug，get_permalink已经encode了一部分url（post slug），支付宝需要将所有参数都encode，使用中文会将部分url encode两次。
暂解方法是使用post方式，我会在下次更新时修复这个问题。

This is a WordPress plugin based on WooCommerce, so that requires your website to be WordPress+WooCommerce based. It doesn’t matter where you are hosting it.
This plugin is not for global Alipay, only accounts from https://www.alipay.com. If you are with global Alipay, then please search for “Alipay Cross Border Payment Gateway”.

@photocrati – Can you please check if the $effect_code in your plugin get rid of the \ properly? Currently the output is \”thickbox\” rather than just “thickbox” which make photos will not open in a popup window.

Hi, as the global alipay account is different from the one in China, so we currently do not have any plan to support it. In fact the woocommerce official has released a plugin for the global alipay account which you can purchase at https://www.woothemes.com/products/alipay-cross-border-payment-gateway/

It’s designed to pass just the buyer name to Alipay instead of product name or product description. Since there could be lots of products in one order. For order info, the admin notify email sent by WooCommerce covers that well. But yes I agree with you the info in Alipay account might not be sufficient, haven’t thought that before. Thank you for the reminder.

We never encountered this problem before, could you kindly provide your site info, eg. WordPress version, your theme, woocommerce version, please let me know if there is a javascript error.

Are you trying to use it with account registered from global.alipay.com?
This plugin only supports accounts with alipay.com which is mainly used in China.

By the way, the plugin works with WordPress 3.6.1 + WooCommerce 2.0.14, just have got the time to update the info.

Please double check your PID, this error means your pid is invalid.

ILLEGAL_ARGUMENT
If you didn’t enter the correct email account and PID, the error will occur.

Please double check those settings.

Currently we don’t have a plan to integrate Unionpay directly.

Hi Michael, did you have trouble registering an Alipay account? Please note that Alipay is quite different from Paypal and the one we are talking about is only available in China and a few countries in Asia. There is indeed no application to create.
Please follow the instruction of this page to apply for an Alipay account. If you have any trouble, then maybe this payment method is not right for you or you should have someone in China help you.
