@cbhtcomputers – I’m in the early stages of testing out simplecalendar.io on my client’s site. Doesn’t look like I’ll be needing the premium version at the moment as it seems to be working well and looks fine for my client’s needs. Worth a bash if you’re looking to try something different.

The only thing I miss compared to AI1EC is allowing users to switch the calendar view on the front end. But that particular feature has never worked correctly for me anyway (refuses to load my custom calendar theme templates) so perhaps I won’t miss it that much after all. I have a support thread open for that issue too (link is in my original post), but still no reply so unfortunately I’ll have to move onto a different solution.

I’ve had email contact from Time.ly and there should be a solution to this issue (missing events) in the next update.

I also had this issue. WP 4.5.2 New install of 2.4.1 from WP plugins directory.

As has been suggested in other threads, I downloaded 2.4.0 directly from the Timely site and switched it out in the plugins directory. Everything working as expected now, but it doesn’t seem to be recognising the .twig in my theme… I may have missed something though.

New install of 2.4.1 from WP plugins directory. Saving Settings always threw me back to the list of events (though settings did actually save), my Advanced and Extensions tabs wouldn’t work, and I couldn’t activate any other theme so was stuck on Vortex.

This is an otherwise excellent plugin. Although I have to say, I’m glad I’m only using the free version – for any paid customers, the support is a bit weak.
