any chance I could get more information about the visitors? How did they come to your site? There is no whitelisting in the plugin, so it simply blocks users with a bad referer (no spelling mistake!) address.

Anyway, this is almost impossible. The plugin really only blocks people/bots who are coming from or pretending to come from a malicious site. If a real visitor was blocked, the only way this could have happened is if they were on one of the malicious/blocked sites before coming to yours.

Could you give me more details on that?

I am currently in the process of relocating to a new country, lots of interviews and lots of other stuff going on, which prevented me from pushing an update. I really hope that within the next week I can push the update (which will include this bugfix and other changes).

May I ask in which PHP version your WordPress is running?

I just double checked, the minimum version required for this plugin is PHP 5.3. Using anything lower than 5.5 is not only completely outdated, but also very dangerous as it has reached the official End of Life. It was released almost 6 years ago and even 5.5 is only receiving security updates, only 5.6+ is still supported and should be used.

I’m sorry to tell you that with your current setup, you will not be able to use my plugin! ??
