In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] how to remove message ?Hi there,
Thank you so much for your purchase.
You can hide this message by clicking the “x” (dismiss) icon on the right-hand side of this message. If this doesn’t work it is because of a conflict with another plugin and not HappyFiles itself (as hiding the message works for all other HappyFiles users).
I gladly look into this issue for you in more detail. You’d need to get in touch via email ([email protected]), though. As I can’t provide more detailed support for customers in this forum, which is for the free version of HappyFiles.
Just as a side note: If you are a HappyFiles Pro user and experience any issues with the Pro version, please get in touch via email ([email protected]) as this forum is for the free version of HappyFiles only. Thank you ??
Greetings,
ThomasP.S.: I’d appreciate if you can adjust your review after this issue has been resolved. As it only seems to reflect one minor issue of the plugin, and not its overall functionality.

In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] Simply essentialHappy to hear HappyFiles made it into the list of plugins you are using on every site you built ?? Thanks for reaching out about the issue you encountered. It’s been a great experience for me as well!
All the best,
ThomasSuper happy to hear you are using the plugin to its fullest, @suryamiharja ??
My pleasure, Mohammed ?? For sure, I’ll keep it up! Thanks so much for taking the time to craft and share such an in-depth review about HappyFiles.
Cheers,
ThomasHi Meggs,
Thanks so much for your question. Naming it “Folders” instead of “Categories” is just semantics ??
But you are totally right. Currently you category names must be unique. Which prevents you from creating the naming structure you’d like.
This is actually something I want to change anyway when I introduce the “Duplicate Categories” feature. Which will allow you to duplicate a category and all its sub categories with one click. So you can setup a template structure and replicate it as you’d do on your computer ??
I will leave this support thread open, and let you know once category names don’t have to be unique anymore.
Best regards,
ThomasHi @tahamohamadi,
As it’s been one week without a reply, I assume everything is working as expected now. If that is not the case, please let me know by replying to this comment. I am more than happy to assist you. Also, in the meantime HappyFiles 1.3.1 has been released. Please make sure to update to this latest version. As it comes with additional bug fixes.
All the best,
ThomasHi @alriksson,
As reported by other HappyFiles 1.3.1 users, the featured image bug has been resolved. That is why I’ll close this issue for now. If you are for some reason still experiencing this issue, please let me know in the comments.
All the best,

In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] Visual Bug WoocommerceHi @turbohenry,
Thanks so much for reporting this funky behaviour with WooCommerce. It’s kinda expected, though. As the selected image always shows up in the media grid view when using the media modal. Like you said, it doesn’t actually re-assign any categories ??
About HappyFiles’ plugin size and performance: No, nothing else is loaded from the internet. I just tried to make the user experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
That is why HappyFiles is 99% faster and uses 99% less memory than other plugins (source: https://wphive.com/plugins/happyfiles/)
No worries, HappyFiles is never going to be 3 MB, but with new features being added over time, it will increase from where it is now. Not noticeably, though. Btw, total file size and “felt” performance don’t increase at the same pace. Especially when coded well ??
Thank you for being part of the HappyFiles family!
Cheers,

In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] Beaver Builder BugHi @kayamurer,
As multiple HappyFiles 1.3.1 users confirmed the HappyFiles sidebar shows up properly now in page builders like Beaver builder and Oxygen. As I assume it’s working for you too, I will go ahead and close this thread for now. If the issue still exists in some form, please let me know.
All the best,
ThomasSuper happy to hear that you are enjoying the plugin to organize your media library ??
