I believe this was answered via email or in the forum at one point. You dont need to add a redirect – when a non patron attempts to open the post, they are redirected to Patreon to sign up already.

In reply to: [Patreon WordPress] User role!You can use the Patron Pro (a premium upgrade to this plugin) ‘Allow only patrons to log in’ feature to allow only patrons to register & log in. You can find it via google.
However it may be a good idea to prevent anyone from registering/logging in if the registration/login is disabled in the site. Though that defeats the purpose of the plugin.

You can use PHP code to gate any part of your content. You could modify it for a certain $ value or the value with which a given post is locked with.
If you want to gate only parts of the content, you can use the premium plugin’s shortcodes. (Patron Plugin Pro). You can google for its details since its support cannot be rendred at this forum.
