Yes I tried all of those! I still have no idea what I was doing wrong but I have uploaded one from themeid for the responsive theme so all is working well. Thank you so much for your time and help.

CSS seems to work for twentyeleven which displays normally but none of the others when I change the @import url. What is wrong?! Please help I would like to use responsive.

This works:

with a space between Child and theme…

Hi! Thank you for your prompt reply! My file now says @import url(“../responsive/style.css”); but still doesn’t seem to work. I still get what looks like only html, with no styling…

I thought the @import was meant to link the child theme to the Parent themess style.css file. But I can’t seem to do it! The first link I put in directed to the CSS file if I put it in the search bar and now this one doesn’t work either. Is there some other bit I could have got wrong?! Or something else I could try?
