Since the image remains clickable in mobile, I’m assuming that it is something in the function.php file… but I can’t find it. The image isn’t clickable in browsers.

FYI – the theme has been updated twice during the last two months. Otherwise, I would have given up on the child theme and just edited the theme directly.

Yes, that is the problem (@alchymyth)… the theme options are not working.

Is there a workaround?

I downloaded the free version of the theme from www.remarpro.com. The theme is Squirrel.
