CoccoHi @iberezansky and thank you for your answer!
I understand that changingga
to something else might help, but alas it could have unexpected consequences becausega
is the de facto standard.
Would you please consider to make Google Analytics’ tracking optional in your plugin?
I am asking because it is a bit weird for a PDF plugin to interfere with the tracking implementation of a website.
Thank you,

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook! An update on this issue.
Apparently, in order to properly configure the plugin you need to be the owner of the following Facebook assets:
– the business manager,
– the page,
– the product catalog,
– the pixel.PLEASE NOTE that you need to be the owner of these assets: being an admin is not enough!
In other words: if you work for an agency or corporation, you need to bother quite a few people (most likely higher up in the command chain) in order to complete for this seemingly trivial task.
It is still not clear whether this is a Facebook policy or simple inaction on the developers’ side. Either way, if you are stuck with this bug, please make your voice heard on the plugin’s page:

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook!Hi @battouly , thank you for your reply!
Alas, it still shows the same error after following all the instructions:– remove non a-z characters from wc_facebook_external_business_id
– flag every permission in step 5 (even though I could not see the “Manage your business” permission)
– use the gist
– clean plugin options from the DBI can send you the screencast of the error in private, if you think that might help.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Prints lots of info to console, how to stop?Thank you @khungate for letting the devs know.
Printing debug to console.log in production is bad practice from the point of view of both security and programming.
Thank you and have a nice day,
Guido@jalancast I just found out that downgrading to Facebook for WooCommerce v1.10.2 works!
This is far from ideal, but better than no sync at all… and it suggests that the issue is due to a plugin’s limitation rather than to a Facebook policy.
Cheers,
GuidoPlease note that downgrading to Facebook for WooCommerce v1.10.2 seems to work as a temporary fix.

Thanks,
GuidoHi @jalancast, at my web agency we have the same exact issue!
Please add your experience there so that hopefully they try and fix the issue:– https://github.com/facebookincubator/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/1718

In reply to: [Meta pixel for WordPress] Deprecated Ads API Call errorAny news on this bug? It is spamming my website debug.log.
Thanks,
GuidoHi @zdenys,
Do you know whether the issue due to a new Facebook policy? It that were the case, it would be easier for our client to understand.
Thanks,
GuidoHi @zdenys, thank you for your reply.
I have followed all the steps with no success.
The page is connected to our Business Manager, and I am both a page manager and the catalog admin: why is it that I cannot connect the e-commerce to Facebook?
Is it possible to connect to the catalog the “old way”?
Thank you,
GuidoPS: Alas, moving all assets under the same Business Manager is not an option… we are in no position to ask our corporate client to revolutionize its Business manager.
