there is a bar–colored graphic– running across the top of all my posts. in the top right corner is a link labeled “login” and a little person icon to it’s left. i want to get rid of this login bar and only login from a link. i’m using latest version of semiologic 3.x w/ wp 2.x.

3.1 is the version in my control panel and on the website.

de-activating the framebuster plugin resolved this problem.

fixed this by creting an image folder. evidently the upgrade refrences the folder in a different loacation.

i figured it out–getting kinda scarey since i’m no technical person.

i had to remove the snippet badbehavior added to my wp-config.php file.

whew!

i’m feeling kinda brave so i think i’ll re-install it and give it another go.

when i uploaded the sl3.2.2 pkg babehavior was not in the plugins folder. it was outside. might be the reason for the bad path.

problem was fixed by de=activating the framebuster plugin in slogic 3.2.2

bingo!!! the problem was caused by denis’s framebuster plugin. silencematters — check your plugins for the frambuster and de-activate.

btw, i checked denis’s site for an update but there is none.
i’m using latest slogic 3.2.2 pro pkg.

infact this redirecting is happening to all my “pages” wherether i choose to view or edit!

ok, i upgraded and thank goodness the upgrade went smooth as silk! however, page problem is still there!

i noticed some thing else — which was happening before the upgrade– if i’m on the “home” page [most current post] the url in the browser status is https://diabeticnews.com and if i place my cursore over the liberty-diabetic-supplies-link in the footer the url in the status bar is https://diabeticnews.com/liberty-diabetic-testing-supplies/ but will not go to that page. instead the link returns “correctpage.html and then redirects to the most recent post.

if i go to the about page and i move the cursor over the liberty Testing Supplies link in the footer the status url becomes https://diabeticnews.com/about/liberty-diabetic-testing-supplies
the “about” part of the url should not be there.

some additional info…
when i click on the page’s link in the footer the url changes to mydomainname.com/correctpage.com. i don’t know where that “correctpage.htm” came from.
i don’t find any difference between how my other pages are setup and this new pages but evidently something is not working correctly.
