another thing is yes since making a child theme not all the css links because the tutorial I followed to create a child theme required me do delete all styles to make my own I’m pretty sure the style sheet is linked properly, I can go back and check again.

it has to be linked properly because other css mods have worked.

the “site header image” wp-admin/customize/header media/ the image that gets inserted there is not changing it’s width size when in standard phone mode or being held vertically. from what I understand the css code above should make the header image dynamic and change the size from max-width:768px to max-width:480px.

so when viewing on my iphone 7 the header image is unreadable and scaled too large.

should I be doing something extra to link it to mobile?

I think worst case scenario I would be able to remove the header completely and add the header image at the top of each page as a normal image, but I’m really hoping I don’t have to do that ??

Just a heads up All-in-one Event Calendar seems to be working better I still have a small problem with the sub menu background color turning white.
