Updated the code as per your instructions and tried to post again and we get this now:

Failed to create/update post: Invalid value at ‘local_post.topic_type’ (type.googleapis.com/google.mybusiness.v4.LocalPostTopicType), “PRODUCT”

You’ll see it’s bringing thru ALL the HTML markup from the woocommerce short description, how would I get it to remove/clean any HTML code as it posts?

We are using free version at the moment as we evaluate, so no automatic posting as such, either manual posting or posting when saving.

We tried maybe 5 or 6 different plugins/code alterations to make this work but none achieved what we wanted.

We have to use it as Simple Product so your own plugin isn’t suitable unfortunately, but we’ll look into the other one you mentioned, thank you.

Seems like this should be something WooCommerce should do out of the box.

That wouldn’t work for what we were trying to do, as all the B2C sites needed to be managed separately by relevant countries who are selling, so we needed to go the multisite route.

Lots of conflicting information from different people (we posted the same thread directly in WooCommerce forums too).

I think multisite + plugins to sync etc is the way to go but we haven’t actually done this yet as project is on hold.

So were looking at using WooCommerce Multistore but wondered if anyone had any actual real world experience doing something similar to what we want to achieve.
