The problem seems to be caused by UM plugin, not its context.

‘Fora’ is the plural of forum.
One forum
Two forabbPress fora = bbPress ‘forums’.

Membership plugins being used include bbPress and ‘Members – Membership & User Role Editor Plugin’ (though I don’t know if I actually now need that latter one.)

Surprised that only admin can see imported meta. I bet there’s a way to link it to the registration form that includes fields for users’ meta data.

I have removed ‘WP Approve User’.
Users imported with your ‘Import Users from CSV with Meta’ are still showing as ‘Approved’ at Users>All Users.
When users try to log in, WP gives them message
Still awaiting admin approval
.Please could you tell me how imported users can log in now?

…Email templates can be loaded, and edited to show username, password etc.
In addition, from that page, the ‘Import & Export Users & Customers’ plugin can be set automatically to send an email ON IMPORT of the CSV file when user is Created, Edited or their Password changed.
My question though is, is it possible:
(i) to send username and password details individually to CSV-imported users manually, and if so from where? WP does not show the user’s password unless the ‘generate password’ button is pressed by admin – which changes the password, making the existing (hidden?) one, void.
(ii) to send username and password details ‘en masse’ after the CSV import has been done?

…though after uploading CSV I recall all users as showing as ‘Approved’ anyway. I don’t think I needed to use that plugin.

I solved it, the issues was that my form didn’t have the novalidate=”novalidate” parameter.
So if you build custom registration form you should add parameter like this:
<form action=”‘ . $_SERVER[‘REQUEST_URI’] . ‘” method=”post” novalidate=”novalidate”>
and the plugin WP Approve User will be work like a charm)—

Essentially, even if WP encodes the URL, then when the customer downloads they can trace the URL that the WP-coded product URL leads to, and access folder content from there.
I think that the problem is that (perhaps understandably) my hosting is not permitting any public access outside of the <public_html> folder.
