The CSS above works as expected. You need to set your Page ID properly. In the example above he is using Page ID 2. You need to change that to your page ID you want the title removed from.

Yes that seems to have resolved it for IE.

I wouldn’t buy this theme. The developer is not responsive on here at all. I like the theme as well and was going to do the same but have decided to look for another one. There is no way to get a slider on pages at least in the free version.
