That’s what I thought. I have a ton (50) plugins currently running on the site. There must be a limit of how many different settings are shown in the pop-out menu. The very top setting is “Writing”.

ETA: I disabled a plugin and the General tab showed back up. Looks like you can only display 31 links in the settings pop-out menu.

there is a “hide Dashboard” plugin that I use on my blog that addresses this issue. It sends subscribers to their profile page if they try accessing the admin dashboard page: https://www.kpdesign.net/wp-plugins/wp-hide-dashboard/

looks like kimili breaks the visual editor in WP2.7 (beta 2).

ok I just figured it out. It seems that you have to create a new meta widget and then set it up under widget option.

I wish the “usage” guide in the settings page was a little more descriptive.

I’m using plugin with 2.7-beta2.

does someone have a link to v3.5.9? Version 4.0 is terrible and there is little to no documentation on how 4.0 works.

I have the latest WP version and a bevvy of plugins (47 at last count). It worked until I updated it and then it was gone. Your plugin was the only one updated when it broke so unless you changed the source code, it shouldn’t have conflicted with plugins it had previously played nice with. I use the one-click installer plugin to load up and manage my plugins. I will check the file system via ftp and make sure there are no stray files created in the auto update and try re-uploading it by hand to see it it fixes things.

I tried deleting the plugin all together and re-uploading the new version after the auto-update effectively killed it. I still do not see the existing tags on the post writing page. Does this plugin need to be manually edited now?

I am having dashboard issues as well. I cleared my cache and had no luck gaining access. I tried entering via editing a post and I got this error:

Process limit exceeded for uid 10632 [24 >= 24].
