Ah, great, thanks. Saw the WP Builds demo and decided the give the Lite version a go. So far so good – I like it!

I found the problem – I didn’t scroll far down enough on the Taxonomy Capabilities screen! This morning I did, and found these two metaboxes that put the taxonomies in the table, where I was able to assign permissions for the role. I didn’t even know those boxes existed! Thank you for trying to help!

I’m using the block editor.
