I was using one of the WP themes and then modifying the CSS to create pages for a small multi-page “site”. I was installing various plugins via the WP site (e.g. Twitter feed).

I’m not doing any development, just design.

I guess I assumed I was doing all this with the results stored locally on my PC. Didn’t think they would be live on WP (hope not! It’s not finished).

Sorry, I’m a rookie…

So what is happening on my PC with the WAMP install?

I was told I needed it in order to use WP locally.

I don’t want my PC to act as a server. Thought I needed that set-up to create/test the pages offline.

Do I just need to register with WP, create webpages on the WP site and then publish them to make them live – or do I need to ask/pay WP to host before the pages are live?

I asked if it would be best if they just had access to WP on my PC (for updates / testing).
