This probably is not an exacting subject for most, but it is of vital importance to me.

As per my post, I can not view saved drafts. Please read first post to understand what is happening. Should say saved as DRAFT of course.

    Thanks

    Hi Nadia,

Problem solved. It had nothing to do with plug-ins. In my Theme, I was using a “Child” option on the Theme. When I went to the main theme, everything worked.

Thanks so much for your efforts.

Thanks for your quick response, appreciated.

Strange things going on. I can only add 12 new taxonomies; if I delete one of them I can add a new one. After 12, when I enter the 13th, I go to my “Index” page.

    Index of /
    Clickman/
    WordPress/
    cgi-bin/
    images/
    postinfo.html

Your instructions state “You can create unlimited number of taxonomies with Media Setting > Taxonomies menu”.

There is no “Menu” category, There is Media Categories which opens up all the saved taxonomies which has the option to Add New; then Save. When entering number 13, it then goes to the Index Page.

Any ideas? Don’t think it could be any other plug-ins or I couldn’t create any taxonomies; and remember as I stated I can delete one of the 12 and then add one back.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Yes, I did read the links again, thanks.

The only reason I mentioned Drafts is that I wanted to point out this was not a live site (probably doesn’t make any difference, just wanted to be clear).

Based on your information I will just go ahead and not worry about the Permalinks where I am working. Then when I want to go “Live” I will move all the content to the new site where I have WP installed in the public_HTML area instead of a separate WP folder and that will correct my Permalinks to what I want.

Again, thanks for your patience and your answers.

Anyone have an answer to my last post?

    Thanks,

Thanks for the reply and links. One question, the WP installation is on a site that I am using for development purposes only, a test site I guess it could be called.

Everything is saved as a Draft, that site isn’t actually active online. When I finish all my work there, everything will be ported over to an entirely different web server.

If I import the site into the new server where WP has been installed in the proper public_HTML area, will all my problems with the mysite.com/WordPress/article title permalinks be resolved automatically, or is this just wishful thinking?

    Thanks for the reply.

The password is a great idea to keep it from going public. I had to smile/cry with your comment “Fire the contractors and get ones that you can trust.”

The last time I put my 100% unwavering trust in someone was with my significant other; that was $50,000 ago. I know, I know ?? but hey, I got the dog.

Your other idea of a different hosting account was brilliant I hadn’t thought of that option! I have several parked domains that will work for that purpose.

Know of any real cheap hosting sites I can check out?

    Thanks!
    Ron
