Has there been any resolution to this issue?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Here is what I just tried.
1. Brand new wordpress instllation.
2. change wordpress settings site url to https://www.domain.com from https://www.domain.com/wordpress
3. copy index.php and modify to point to subfolder as described in the wordpress FAQ
4. Update permalinks
5. Create completely blank new page for test gallery, before installing next gen gallery
6. Test site functionality, domain.com loads domain.com/wordpress/index.php file. Great!
7. Install nextgen gallery.
8. Go to test page and press the insert next gen gallery button.
9. Nextgen Gallery banner shows up with whitebox and below it no functions are shown, just a whitebox.Yes, just changing the site url then copying the index.php file and updating with the install directory. Real basic, I have done this before on my previous site and it worked no problem, but I probably had changed this before I installed NGG.
I would like to give the reset tool a try but…I don’t see the gallery->reset on my dashboard….?
Hey there thanks for response in the other topic, I first posted yesterday and didn’t realize it was a [resolved] topic until looking a few minutes ago and I thought perhaps it would not be read because it was resolved, hence this latest topic…
I believe you can change this ngg_options setting for the gallery path under the OTHER SETTINGS tab on the dashboard. I have changed this as you mentioned above and it has not fixed the issue.
Unless I have the wordpress install directory and site url identical NGG will not work.
Any other ideas here…?
I am having this same issue. Using the very latest version of Nextgen gallery and wordpress.
When I change my site url to anything different than the wordpress install url Nextgen gallery breaks. Images will not show on the pages and the next gen insert menu when editing a page will not load any of the functions, it only displays a white box.
Additionally none of the OTHER SETTINGS can be changed. When saving changes to other setting option I am directed to my homepage and nothing is saved.
When the site url and wordpress directory installation are identical everything works.
Something here is not referring correctly to the wordpress settings…and I cannot find any information about fixing this in the Nextgen FAQ, everything is relate to lightbox or fancy box not working, but nothing about the entire plugin not working.
